- Every seam has been fully sealed with
a waterproof tape to ensure no water passes through any
stitch holes

jacket in the collection has a removable or
stowable ergonomically cut 3-way adjustable hood. This
delivers full visibility, coverage and secures tightly in high
winds
STRETCH-
Soft, fluid 4-way stretch fabric delivers
complete comfort in wear and no restriction in movemen
LIGHTWEIGHT-
Extremely lightweight, crease free and
packable for those that travel
Technology
Our feminine four-way stretch outer fabric has been laminated to a high performance microporous membrane which stops any water molecules passing through the fabric - even in the stormiest of conditions. Unlike PU or rubber forms of waterproofing our technology imperatively allows your body to breathe (body moisture molecules can move through the membrane avoiding a build-up of sweat inside your jacket). The result is a soft, fluid, comfortable technical jacket with no noisy rustle in movement and no restriction in wear…. whatever the season. setting, or activity.
Sustainability
Made from recycled yarns and manufactured by a team who work differently. We collaborate closely with our female owned factory who specialise in slow, high quality manufacturing. Employing friends and family, and with each person expertly trained in all skills, one person often completes our garments from start to finish. Our fabric mill is Oeko-tex and blue sign certified and additionally publicly declare their own carbon footprint with a mission to constantly reduce.
Additional Sizing Help
The Odyssey is purposely oversized and has been cut to be worn on its own or over your winter coat when the weather drops. We recommend size S-M for people who are UK dress size 10/12 or below, and size M-L for UK size 12/14 and over. For further help drop us a message at [email protected]

- Free UK delivery & returns. Order by 2pm and your jacket will be out on our next day delivery service
- Free USA delivery. A return charge of US$20 will be deducted from your original invoice on refund. Your parcel will take up to 5 days to be delivered

Another amazing piece from Protected Species this is my 11th one so do think I have an addiction. They are just such well made, look more unique than other things on the market and provide amazing rain protection. I ordered mine the Thursday before Christmas and it arrived the next day which was such a lovely surprise. The Odessey caught my eye due to the length as my other jackets all protect to above the knee but lower was getting soaked. This one is perfect for coverage, has the brilliant peaked hood that protects from the rain. I got the smaller size as I wasn’t sure what was best and I am glad I did as it is a lovely fit. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to brave the UK weather can see it being used all year as fits lovely over jumpers and other jackets.

This is a fantastic piece – looks stylish, fits over all sorts of outfits, and it really does keep you dry. I tested it in horizontal rain on a west of Scotland beach around Christmas time. It cut the wind and I was dry as a bone inside – which is more than I can say for the bits of me that were not covered by it. Very glad I purchased it.
